What I have learned!

It’s hard to imagine our lives without Internet nowadays. It has become an important part of every person’s life. It seems that Internet has created a whole new history. It has drastically changed everything around. Computers were also an important invention, but Internet is better than any other type of information. Besides, it’s not only used for information, but also for global communication. Originally, Internet was a military experiment in the USA of 60-s. But soon it became clear that everyone in the world can use it. Since the time of Internet appearance, many other media sources became unnecessary. From one side, it’s great to have everything right here online, from the other side, it’s a shame that people have stopped reading paper books and newspapers. That’s because all books or prints can be found online, as well as all films and programs. One of the obvious advantages of Internet is its efficiency. You can find the information you’re looking for in 5 seconds. Just google it and here is the answer. It is very convenient for students, professionals, experts and all other people. In spite of all the good sides that Internet has, there are some drawbacks. First of all, they are viruses, which can be very dangerous for any computer. That’s why it’s good to have reliable anti-virus software installed. Other minus is the violent content. As well as on TV, there is a lot of violence and cruelty online. Nevertheless, every day millions of people turn on their computers and start surfing the worldwide net, because it’s the easiest and quickest way to stay informed. All these I knew already! But afrer our eng unit I learned that internet is not only time for fun or education! From now It’s a large area for sharing my thoughts and idea! Its place where I can be free with my wishes and opinion! Before I was just using social networks or sites for education, but now I have my own blog where I am expressing everything in my blogposts! Our eng unit was about human rights and I understood that all problems we are making by our own hands! I am saying no for bulling childreans, poor or black people! But unfertunattely net is not only peace world, in the same time it is a favorible place for swearing, bulling, rasism and a lot of other bad things! We all should bann this chaos in our world! While this mouth I learned so many new ways for impoving my writing stills, but the main thing, that I learned the best way of protecting peole surrounding me! All these knowlege I would like to use in my future life!

How will you use your new understanding about violation of rights and the use of social media in your community and service activities?

How will you use your new understanding about violation of rights and the use of social media in your community and service activities?

Hello, everyone! Today I am going to finish my English unit about human rights. But that means only getting a mark for that! I wanted to say that I will continue my researches, my blog and my active fight for human rights. Now I am quite sure, that my new knowledge’s will help me in life to protect myself and all people around. Nowadays, we have a brilliant chance to make changes in our world, simply while sitting on your sofa. Of course it wound be something global, but you will make a special contribution to the human rights.

During this school unit I got a huge amount of knowledge about blogging and protecting our rights. I won’t just forget what I leaned; I will try to make an interest in that topic with everyone from my surrounding. From now, I am going to be more responsible and understanding! I will make people believe that our future deepens on us! And progress of 21th century will help me with that! Internet is a good place for debating and expressing your thoughts, feeling!  Right now I am promoting a heath lifestyle, ground maintenance and care of nature in the Facebook! I choose this specific network because of demanding!

From today I will have more interest during social council meeting ( I am planning to go back in this aspect of school`s life) , also me more active while community and service actions, plus I will talk in internet with people from different countries to understand what’s going on there with a human rights.

Plus videos and music are the good idea for those who prefer a more entertaining way of studying and fighting for our rights!

So I will use all these aspects to help people! To fight for them! To protect everyone! Even if it will be by dint of net. We should show an enthusiasm in our community and service activities!

The most important thing!

Hello, today I would like to discuss very important aspect about poor children with different diseases! These little kids are not able to have a normal medical support. Many young people need our carrying about them, especially those who are living without parents or in poor families. Many of them are dying because of cancer, but money could get a big chance for them to save their lives. Our days, unfortunately we cannot take a free medical support, but doctors may save their lives!

First of all, I urge the government to improve the standard of medicine, as well as new laws about free medicine. But it’s only half of the way! We all can help these babes! Nowadays, we have a huge power in our hands!!! Actually, this power located almost in every computer! And is net! Social networks, some sites are publishing a lot of information about our opportunity to help those kids! I would like to say a big THANK YOU to those who are helping people, who are active in community and service, who is agree with my point of view!

We can use internet for sending money for kids with a heath diseases and their parent`s economic problems! Also we can share our warmth with them! I am pretty sure they need our moral supporting! But how, if we are sitting so far away from each other! But I will tell you a logical answer! Internet can help us with any sort of actions! Even we realized the huge numbers of poor people, children with diseases because of internet!

Kofi Annan

KOFI A. ANNAN of Ghana , the seventh Secretary-General of the United NationsKOFI A. ANNAN of Ghana , the seventh Secretary-General of the United Nations, served from 1997 to 2006 and was the first to emerge from the ranks of United Nations staff. He was a constant advocate for human rights.

Only when government is grounded in the rule of law — fairly and consistently applied — can society rest on a solid foundation. Leaders must ensure that the rules are respected — that they protect the rights and property of individual citizens. Leaders must also hold themselves to the same rules, the same restraints — never above them.”

Address by Kofi Annan, The Fifth Nelson Mandela Annual Lecture, July 2007

Since leaving the United Nations, Kofi Annan has continued to press for better policies to meet the needs of the poorest and most vulnerable, particularly in Africa. He has also continued to use his experience to mediate and resolve conflict. In Kenya in early 2008, Mr. Annan led the African Union’s Panel of Eminent African Personalities to help find a peaceful resolution to the post-election violence.

Kofi Annan made really good and large contribution in the development of laws and human rights! We all should kepp ones ears open to his words and activities! If our planet would be full of such nice people, I think, it would be enough to protect and care about each other!

“Literacy is a bridge from misery to hope. It is a tool for daily life in modern society. It is a bulwark against poverty, and a building block of development, an essential complement to investments in roads, dams, clinics and factories. Literacy is a platform for democratization, and a vehicle for the promotion of cultural and national identity. Especially for girls and women, it is an agent of family health and nutrition. For everyone, everywhere, literacy is, along with education in general, a basic human right.... Literacy is, finally, the road to human progress and the means through which every man, woman and child can realize his or her full potential.”

The Media in the Life of Society!

Hello! It is my new blog post about social media in our life!

The mass media plays an important role in our everyday life. In fact it is an essential part of modern society. Press, radio, net and TV keep peopl informed on the latesr and most sensational events.

Millions of copies of newspapers are printed in our country every day. All the most important questions of social, economic, scientific and cultural life, moral and ecolofical promlems, human and animals rights are published in the press and discussed on TV and online chats. Opinion slash, officials and political parties are subjected to criticsm whatever their position may be. The mass media is constantly trying to stimulate intrest in every aspect of life of the country.

Internet, newspapers, magazines and TV programmes for young people reflect their hopes and wishes, their attitudes and opinions. Of course such programmes, magazines, sites and newspapers mostly deal with leisure, especially music and the cinema. But some of social media also offer young people advice about their rights, such as good education or job, helping them to choose the right course in solving their problems.

Human rights in Kazakhstan

Hello, people! Now, its time to talk about my country! The Republic of Kazakhstan, with a population of approximately 16.6 million, has a parliamentary system dominated by President Nursultan Nazarbayev's Nur Otan Party. As you know, the 2007 national elections for the (lower house of parliament) fell short of international standards. Yesterday I was watching TV with my dad and I heard there, that Nur Otan received 88 percent of the vote, winning every seat in the chamber. Security forces reported to civilian authorities.
So, in our country the following human rights problems were reported.  For example:

1)      severe limits on citizens' rights to change their government;
2)      military hazing that led to deaths;
3)      detainee and prisoner torture and other abuse;
4)      unhealthy prison conditions;
5)      arbitrary arrest and detention;
6)      lack of an independent judiciary;
7)      restrictions on freedom of speech, the press, assembly, and association;
8)      discrimination and violence against women;
9)      societal discrimination against gays, lesbians, bisexuals, transgender persons, and those with HIV/AIDS.
10)   discrimination and violence against women

Frankly speaking, this information I took from site of U.S. State Department. I am glad to see such useful and interesting facts about my country!  I am really proud of Kazakhstan. Nowadays, we are doing a lot of actions, we are learning and improving laws about animal`s and humans rights. Each of us should care not only about themselves, but we should be more attention on each other lives! I know, It could be very difficult for someone, but bullying, killing, poaching should not be in our world!
